If you are charged with an offence and cannot afford to pay for your representation, we will be able to advise you as to whether you will be eligible for legal aid and represent you at court and in the preparation of the case if your application for legal aid is successful.

With a growing team of specialist Solicitors and experienced Accredited Representatives, we offer advice and assistance to clients at Police Stations and in proceedings in both the Magistrates and Crown Courts.

With a range of Duty Solicitors, fully accredited representatives and experienced support staff, our Criminal Department is able to deal with all criminal offences from the very minor to the most serious and our team is available on an emergency basis for clients 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Whilst based at our Coventry and Nuneaton offices, we can also arrange to see clients and have conferences at our Leamington Spa office, or indeed at their home address if this is more convenient. We have a team of well-respected advocates to present your case in Court and a close working relationship with several Barristers Chambers, should your matter have to proceed to the Crown Court for any reason.

Legal Services Commission


The department has a Legal Services Commission Contract to perform Criminal work and is also approved (like the rest of the firm) by the British Standards Institute. We therefore operate to the highest professional standards and clients can be confident of a service second to none in those unfortunate circumstances when they are investigated by the Police or other agencies for criminal matters.

The department prides itself in providing clients with an efficient, friendly and professional serice and our clients know they can rely on us and many use our services time and again.
